So one week down on the holidays.
What have I been up to?
Have caught up to all the TV shows I watch online as well as viewed 30 odd episodes of Mythbusters, from the very begininng as well as some of the original NCIS.
Been and seen a printer about having my question book made in a simpler format and en mass that will reduce the cost and effort I expend to manufacture it at home. The down side is that it will be of a reduced quality and durability. I have seen samples of the style and work and it will be printed on recycled paper locally but I'll end up with something like three years stock going by the amount that sell now!!!
I've been to the dentist and had a tooth removed and am currently wearing a plate while I wait for the site to settle and an appointment with a specialist to have a post and prosthetic implant. A very strange sentation but my speech has not been altered.
Taken my paperwork to our tax agent.
Replaced the washers in four taps (faucets).
Ordered some more ear piece thingy's for use with the work portable radio's.
Tried to source more diaphragms for my stethoscope, it's not a Littmann's which seem to be as common as Toyota's.
Purchased a very large map of the USA so Ambowife can start sticking pins in it for sights we want to see or people that have offered accommodation, etc, for our trip there in two years?? for my long service.
Ambowife is right into Digital Scrapbooking and most of the market seems to live in the States and she has made many good friends there and when she mentioned it in a chat session almost a year ago we were flooded with offers and reminders to 'You come and visit us now when you here'.
One of my God Daughters is coming over for a visit in two weeks and we'll spend a day together.
And not as much sleep as I would like.
Well that's pretty much the first week, two more to go.
See you at the big One, eventually!
