So three shifts done now with the new Padawan.
We're starting to make some progress but time will tell.
There's a good reason why the probation period is twelve months.
It takes that long to perfect the basics of the craft of Pre Hospital Care.
So we're spending a bit longer on patient health care records and not doing as many jobs as we might be otherwise.
Be careful out there and I'll see you at the Big One.

Spose thats what happens with teaching. I managed to delay the end of an operation by a few minutes while a neurosurgeon was picky about my grip on the instruments (and was quite patient about it considering it was a Friday night emergency list). Your Padawan (or his patients) will thank you for it. Or, they will assume that he sprang into being as an experienced and uber competent paramedic like all the rest.
